The full moon in September is usually referred to as the Harvest Moon, representing the time of the year when the fruits of our efforts have manifested and it is time to begin reaping the rewards, however, every few years the Harvest Moon occurs in October instead, when the full moon from that month is closer to the Fall Equinox. When that happens (as is the case in 2025), the full moon in September is often called the Corn Moon, and it presents a special energetic opportunity for us. Since the time of the harvest is coming one month later than usual, it means we have some extra time to put a bit more energy into everything we've been working towards.
Our sound immersion in this event will focus on that idea, directing the energy of the Corn Moon through the vibrations of Himalayan singing bowls, Sanskrit chants, gongs, and other sacred instruments. Whatever you are creating and working on can receive a potent boost towards the finish line at this time, and the energy of the group gathered together for this purpose has a very sweet intensifying effect.

COSMIC SOUND MANDALA is an immersive experience of sacred sound vibrations that facilitates healing, connection, and expansion of consciousness. By allowing the sounds to do their work on the body at a cellular level as well as the spirit on levels beyond the physical, these sounds will benefit each person in the way that is most needed. Cosmic Sound Mandala channels these energies in a state of presence in the moment, allowing the immersion to take a journey that is unique to each experience. Benefits of sound vibration may include relief from stress and anxiety, reduction in pain, improved sleep, peace of mind and mental clarity, emotional healing and release, and deeper spiritual connection.
Margo Gomes is a certified Vibrational Sound Therapist who is passionate about sharing the extraordinary ability of sound vibrations to repair aspects of ourselves that are out of alignment and to restore harmony and wholeness to body, mind, and spirit. She facilitates group sound immersion experiences using a variety of Himalayan singing bowls, Chinese wind gong, and other instruments to create an atmosphere of relaxation and healing. Margo also performs private sessions during which she places Himalayan Zen Therapeutic Singing Bowls directly on and around the whole body to produces a state of profound relaxation that allows stagnant energy to begin to flow and enables the body to begin to heal itself, resulting in enhanced health and wellbeing.
Ian Boccio uses his voice, along with a variety of acoustic and electronic instruments, to create opportunities for listeners to connect to planes of higher consciousness. A professional musician and composer for decades, Ian works with the vibrations of Sanskrit (the traditional sacred language of India) through the yogic practice of mantra, the chanting of potent syllables that are capable of transforming our relationship to reality. He learned to pronounce these sacred syllables from Vyaas Houston of the American Sanskrit Institute, and developed his mantra practice with guidance from Shri Karunamayi, an enlightened teacher from the Shri Vidya tantric tradition who resides in southern India. Ian has been sharing mantras for healing and consciousness expansion in Atlanta since 2007.
