Join the Pelican Nature Club as we take a walk through the woods after dark! We'll get a chance to observe crepuscular (active around dawn and dusk) critters during their most active time. Some fun critters we may observe are reptiles, amphibians like a giant Amphiuma, owls, insects, and even mammal species like a Southern Flying Squirrel or Red Fox!Please bring a flashlight or head lamp and water. Bug spray will be available.
Long pants and long sleeves are recommended. You may treat clothes with Permethrin (available at Academy) for extra protection against mosquitos. Close toed shoes are required."
