What goes bump in the Wisconsin woods after dark?
This October, join the Ice Age Trail Alliance and Waukesha County Land Conservancy for a full moon hike through the nighttime woods at the Hartland Marsh Preserve. Learn about the animals that call Wisconsin’s woodlands home after dark, from creatures with claws and keen senses to the wildlife that leaves behind tracks, calls, and other clues.
The hike takes place Sunday, October 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and is free and open to all ages. With sunset around 6:00 pm, a flashlight or headlamp is highly recommended. Dress warmly for the weather and trail conditions, and please leave dogs at home.
RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
