This forest bathing walk will celebrate the full moon in April, called the pink moon or flower moon. The two hour walk is a very slow, mindful, experience that is not a hike and covers a distance of only about one mile. Participants will be guided to the banks of the Rio Grande River and back, with invitations to play and interact with the natural world around them. A small tea ceremony and light snack will be served at the conclusion of the walk.
WHERE: The meet-up point is in the Alvarado Gardens neighborhood, at Trellis Drive NW and Campbell Road NW, Albuquerque, 87107. Parking is available on Trellis Drive. This walk can be modified to meet mobility restrictions or other special needs, please inform your guide at the time of registration. Participants are encouraged to bring a small flashlight or headlamp if desired, and provide their own water, insect repellent, or other items needed for personal comfort.
