Welcome to another Ecstatic Dance Journey at Scenehuset - this time with PRIMAL PLAY facilitated by amazing Henrik Kjellmo Larsen and Jessica Helena!
Building up towards the Full Moon in Virgo with a total eclipse, it’s time for us to take responsibility for the criticism, judgement and self-doubt that we embody. The Eclipse invites to reveal truths within ourselves, and embodied practices are the perfect place to meet and release anything that feels out of alignment. 💫
Welcome to this Full Moon Celebration ~ a cosmic reset. Every moon phase is an open invitation to look into our ever-evolving understanding of ourselves over time. The phases connect us to a natural flow, as it moves through the elements and signs of the zodiac for all aspects of life. 🌕
~ Primal Play ~
Like animals, we can communicate beyond words! In this primal play workshop we invite you to come along for a journey of play and connection! What happens when we leave expectations, goals and judgments of the mind and move into our bodies? This workshop encourages authentic connections, whether through playful wrestling, emotional release, cuddling, or anything in between or beyond. Inspired by emobdied intimacy, primal play provides a safe environment supporting explorations of desires and boundaries using physical communication.
~ Ecstatic Dance ~
The roots of the ecstatic dance grow deep into the rituals of primitive tribes, who danced to express themselves, moved through stagnant energy, and liberated their energy in support from others.
By giving your body the ability to move freely, letting yourself go beyond the mind and into the heart, you allow yourself to dance into the feeling of oneness with your truth and with your authentic self ~ embodying the consciousness of your body, cleansed of stereotypes and labels offered by society. This unity connects you to the source of inner knowing, strength, confidence, unique expression in the given moment, inspiration and divine connection ~ creating a space for unlimited opportunities for self-realization in this earthly middle world.
Sacred guidelines:
✨substance-free event
✨no phones
✨avoid talking during the ecstatic dance journey
✨respect yourself and others
✨be aware and bring into light your judgment towards yourself and others
✨bring your authentic self, whatever that looks like in the moment
Bring:
✨ A water bottle
✨ Optional journal and pen to write down insights and wisdom
✨ Comfortable clothes to move in (something that makes you feel alive, expressive or represents what’s currently alive in you)
✨ Any instruments, props or items that want to join you!
