NO SPACES REMAIN FOR THIS PROGRAM In highly developed Lake County, an outstanding nature preserve remnant persists; hike this biodiverse prairie with Scott Namestnik (IDNR State Botanist) to discover many rare plants of mesic prairie communities. This property is not open to the public and there are no trails in the preserve, so this is a unique chance to experience Indiana’s prairies before development. Wear long pants/sturdy hiking shoes.
**This program is limited to 12 participants. Registration required by noon June 1, call 765-567-2993 or email [email protected] (responding on Facebook does not reserve your spot).**
Program content is designed for adults, but school-aged children may attend and enjoy depending on their attention span and interest. For more information, call Tippecanoe County Naturalist Mary Cutler at 765-567-2993
