Mission of the Washington County Behavioral Health Board:
The Washington County Behavioral Health Board serves the residents of Washington County by providing a unified system of mental health and alcohol and drug addiction services; thus we are responsible for:
• Planning, maintaining and reviewing mental health and addiction programs
• Coordinating services among contract agencies and other providers of care
• Administering all funds to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of services
• Cultivating a dialog between the Board and both our consumers and the larger community
• Pursuing local financial support to supplement state and federal funding
