Discover the transformative power of nature connection and how to integrate it into your professional practice with practical activities.
About this Event

Embark on a journey of discovery as you learn to design and offer engaging Nature Connection Activities, seamlessly integrating them into various professional practices. This course focuses on the principles of Shinrin-Yoku, or Forest Bathing, which emphasises engaging all five senses — sight, sound, smell, touch and taste — to promote relaxation and overall well-being.

Target audience for this Forest Therapy Hub Nature (FTHub) Connection Specialist (NCS) certification: Working professionals or business owners who are looking to deepen their audience's engagement and well-being through nature-based activities. Examples include but are not limited to: yoga instructors, teachers/educators, social workers, park naturalists, and healthcare professionals. In contrast with longer and more in-depth Forest Bathing Guide or Forest Therapist certifications that stand alone for specific practice modalities, this course will allow you to integrate shorter, meaningful nature connection activities into your existing work OR add new offerings to your business.

This certification includes:

  • 2-day workshop providing 16 hours of hands-on training practice
  • Access to online 16-module training content: video modules, educational games, 8 downloadable nature-based activities, 60 downloadable nature connection activities, 1-year access to FTHub live online content from international experts
  • FTHub Nature Connection Specialist certification
  • Exclusive discounts to future training opportunities

During the 2-day workshop, learn AND experience the transformative power of nature for yourself and for your audience through 4 experiential modules:

  1. Overview of Nature Connection & its Benefits
  2. Biophilia & 5 Pathways to Nature Connection
  3. Nature Connection Facilitation for Groups
  4. Application of Nature Connection Facilitation

With your FTHub NCS certification, you will be equipped to design and implement meaningful nature-based activities to help your audience:

  • Relax
  • Recover
  • Create
  • Explore
  • De-stress
  • Connect
  • Learn
  • Reflect
  • Engage
  • Activate
  • Smile
