The Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association presents: 'The Inner Mind' — a new visual arts exhibit showcasing original artwork created by FSVAA members.
Exhibit Dates: Wednesday, Jun 24 through Sunday, Aug 9, 2026
Location: Solano Town Center Gallery
Hours: Wednesday through Sunday, 11am – 6pm
(The Gallery is located at 1350 Travis Blvd, D-8, Fairfield, CA, inside the Solano Town Center on the second floor outside of Macy’s, next to the AT&T Store)
Spotlight Artist:
Our Spotlight Artist is JoRené Danel.
'JoRené creates fused glass art and enhances metal with glass. Viewers often find Japanese cherry blossoms in her work. Having lived in Japan as a child, JoRené developed a lifelong love of the pink blossoms. She is also inspired by the Bunka and Oshie art her mother created during the family's time there. JoRené finds fulfillment in creating distinctive glass art with stunning colors and endlessly varied designs. Almost everywhere she looks is another idea for her glass creations.'

Opening Reception & Poetry Reading:
On Saturday, July 18, the Solano Town Center Gallery will hold a reception from 3 – 6pm. Meet our spotlight artist, JoRené Danel and hear her speak about her fused glass art display.
Fairfield Poet Laureate Emerita, Suzanne Bruce, and a group of poets will visit the Gallery and create poems inspired by their favorite pieces of art from this show. During the reception, the poets will recite their poems in front of the artwork.
We will be serving appetizers and wine from our sponsor, BackRoad Vines Winery.
