FSVAA presents the 61st Annual Nor-Cal Regional Juried Art Show Exhibit at Solano Town Center Gallery. This Juried Art Show is an annual competition designed to celebrate the works of creative fine artists of Northern California.* EXHIBIT INFORMATION:
• Exhibit Dates: November 15, 2024 - January 5, 2025
• Exhibit Hours: Wed thru Sun, 11am - 6pm
• Location: Solano Town Center Gallery, Fairfield CA (2nd Floor, next to AT&T near the theater)
• Free Entry
The Juried Art Exhibit has approximately 110 amazing art pieces carefully selected by a panel of three established professional artists /jurors: John Boychuk, Ferdinanda Florence, and Jan Lighthouse. The Jurors had quite a task of selecting art from approximately 208 pieces of art entries from artists from Northern California. We thank them for doing a superb job and for giving of their time!
* AWARDS GALA:
Join us at the Solano Town Center Gallery for the FSVAA 61st Annual Nor-Cal Regional Juried Art Show Awards Gala
• Saturday, Nov 23, 2024, 3-6pm
• Presesentation of Awards in each Category for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners, along with Honorable Mentions Certificates
• Public Invited - Bring your family, friends, co-workers & neighbors to honor the achievement of these artists
• Free Entry
* RECEPTION /POETRY READING:
Everyone is invited to our Reception /Poetry Reading event to be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Solano Town Center Gallery, 4-7pm. Poets will recite their writings in honor of the art in the Exhibit.
• Poets are invited to write poetry to the art in this Exhibit. Visit the Solano Town Center Gallery or visit our website to see the art for inspiration. Poems need to be 42 lines or less and must include a photo of the art.
• You can also access photos of the art on our website: https://www.fvaa-arts.org/shop-2
• Submit your poetry along with a photo of the art (include name of artwork) in a doc or pdf format and email itto Suzanne Bruce at [email protected] by Wednesday, December 4, 5pm.
• All poems will be printed out and placed in a binder at the Gallery during the duration of the exhibit.
* JUROR'S TALK:
Juror's Talk will be held on Sunday, January 5, 1-3pm at the Solano Town Center Gallery.
This event has proven to be one of the Juried Art Show highlights for the Artist. The Juror’s Talk is always very well attended. Artists enjoy and appreciate the Jurors sharing their expertise, knowledge, and experience as a Juror on this year’s panel.
* PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD:
While visiting the Gallery, please pick up a ballot and vote for your favorite art piece in the 'People's Choice Award' — the Artists will appreciate your vote! The winner will be presented a special ribbon at the conclusion of the Juried Art Show Exhibit.
