FSU Saxophone Day 2025 is a day celebrating the saxophone through both jazz and classical music! This year's edition features two incredible saxophonists, Troy Roberts and Thomas Giles. Three-time GRAMMY nominated saxophonist Troy Roberts is quickly becoming one of the most widely recorded touring artists of his time. He has performed and recorded with Joey DeFrancesco, Van Morrison, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Kurt Elling, and Veronica Swift, among many others. Thomas Giles, an FSU alum (GO NOLES), is now one of the premiere concert and contemporary saxophonists in New York City. A prizewinner of the prestigious Naumburg Solo Competition, he has premiered over 250 new works, and has worked with composers such as Meredith Monk, David Lang, Charles Wuorinen, and the American indie-rock duo Wye Oak.
