Raydel Lorenzo, PhD, PE is a structural and geotechnical engineer with over 15 years of international experience in design, consulting, and construction administration. He holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnics and has led complex engineering projects across the U.S., Brazil, and Cuba. His expertise spans structural design, foundation systems, forensic assessments, and advanced numerical modeling. In addition to his professional practice, Dr. Lorenzo has over 7 years of academic and research experience, including teaching at university level and coordinating soil and materials research. Currently, he serves as a Lead Structural Engineer at the South Florida Water Management District.
