Frugal Foodies East Bay--Chef Spotlight: Julia Child

To be clear, Julia Child won’t be here in person, even her ashes, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t spotlight some of her amazing dishes. While Julia Child spent a lot of her life in France, she is a famous Californian, hailing from nearby Petaluma. Before becoming an incredible chef, she was a phenomenal basketball player, and has the height to prove it. She’ll help us take Frugal Foodies to new heights with some wonderful dishes, most of them French, including a vegetarian version of Beef Bourguignon. Come cook some Julia Child dishes and do it all for only $10.
