Here we are and it's "that" time of year again. Seems like yesterday we finished off the last Frozen Sole of the 2024-25 season!The details are the same as before. The event is held the third Sunday from October to March, same time, same place.
This season's dates are: October 19, November 16, December 21, January 18, February 15 and March 15 (beware the Ides of March!).
This is a self-timed, 8km loop around Boundary Road, Hwy. 2, Purcell Road and back down Tyotown Road to the finish. It is not a closed course. Race start/finish at the Holy Trinity High School entrance.
Start time is 9 a.m.
If you are participating in the LTR program or if training recommends a shorter distance, you are more than welcomed to take part and adjust accordingly.
There is no cost to participate in this event. If you're already a registered club member, bring a runner friend to introduce them to us. If you're a past member of the CMC, but wanting to get that mojo back, c'mon out. Bring your neighbours, your pet sitters, the guy down the street.
We are a dog-friendly club and if you have a respectful, leashed canine who enjoys running with you, please bring them along. Warning though - they may be spoiled with extra scratches and affection!
Stay a while to socialize with club buds post-event! If anyone aspiring chefs want to bring treats to share, that would be awesome!!
