Celebrate the beginning of a New Year by participating in the 40th annual Frosty 5K New Year's Day race hosted by the Guilford Rotary Club. The course will take you past many iconic sights in this celebrated coastal New England town - the green, marina, and fairgrounds.
Packet pick up day of race will be at the Nathanael B. Greene Community Center, 32 Church St, Guilford as will post race awards, and refreshments, including hot clam chowder! The race starts and finished on the Guilford Green.
Registration will only be possible via this online platform https://runsignup.com/Race/Info/CT/Guilford/GuilfordFrosty5K.
You can register until 10:30am on race day, January 1, 2025.
Price increases after December 25th.
All registered participants can collect bib/race packets from Marathon Sports, Branford (formerly soundRUNNER):
Monday, Dec 30th, 10am-6pm
Tuesday Dec 31st 10am-4pm
Or at the Community Center prior to race start.
Immediately following the race, refreshments and award presentations will take place immediately after the race.
Race Schedule:

9:30am-10:45am Race Day check-in and bib collection at Nathanael B. Greene Community Center.
10:30am Kids Fun Run Start
11:00am 5K Run & 2M Walk Start
11:45am Post-race celebration and awards presentations
Entry Fees:
5K & 2M Walk - $35 online (until Dec 25, 2024), thereafter $40 from Dec 26, 2024 through to Jan 1, 2025
Family Group Registration - 5K or Fitness Walk (up to 4 people) - $120 online (until Dec 25, 2024) thereafter $140 from Dec 26, 2024 through to Jan, 1 2025.
Kids Fun Run - $10 online through Jan 1, 2025. Includes Frosty Fun Run Tee Shirt and participation ribbons
Race Shirts:
Entrants to the 5K and Walk shall be eligible to receive a long-sleeved tech shirts subject to availability at the time of registration. If your preferred size is not available , please ask after the event on race day.
Race Route:
The 5k race starts and ends on the scenic Guilford Green, winding through the beautiful streets of historic Guilford. The course is mostly flat and paved, making it ideal for both
seasoned runners and families looking to enjoy a brisk walk or jog.
Prizes & Awards
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers overall, as well as age group
winners.
