The San Diego Master Chorale is partnering with The Robert Frost Society, San Diego Public Library and Library Foundation SD to present FROSTIANA: Lecture Performance on Saturday, October 19 at 2:00 pm.FROSTIANA: Lecture Performance commemorates the Sesquicentennial of the birth of beloved American poet Robert Frost (1874-1963). The event will feature a reading of four Robert Frost poems that American composer Randall Thompson set to music in his choral composition titled Frostiana. Each reading will be followed by a performance by members of the San Diego Master Chorale of the Thompson settings, and Executive Director Robert Hass of the Robert Frost Society will add discussion and commentary. The event includes a question and answer session for the audience.
This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 1:30 pm for seating.
