On the 29th of December 2025 the Cornish Rave scene lost a legend. Neil Clemence, better known by his stage name, MC Frostbite sadly passed away. Neil was a big part of the scene for many years. His first appearance on the mic was back in 1992 at Hyper Bolic, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. He went on to MC for DJ Fat Controller. Neil had his big break and went MCing at The Shire Horse in 1995 for the likes of DJ Clarkey, Radical, Hixxy, Easygrove and many other big name DJs.
Neil was the resident MC for Doggy Style Promotions in 1997 at Bosens PZ and has worked with many other promoters over the years.
He has been resident MC for Wetback Promotions. Neil was the main MC for Rave Revolution and performed at many of our event’s.
Neil wasn’t just an MC, he was a friend, an awesome kind and caring man, a big part of the rave scene and he was loved by all. We had the pleasure of meeting him quite early on into our Rave Revolution career.
He preformed at our very first DNB event and also performed at many of our other events in Penzance.
Rave Revolution have teamed up with our friends at Raw Rotation to put on an event.
We will be holding this on the 6th March 2026, so at 12am it will technically be Neil’s birthday. We are throwing this party in Neil’s honour and we will be giving all proceeds to his family.

There will be two rooms at this event and eight DJs! In room one we have Roughrider, Recovery, Tech Nose and Si B.
In room two we have Addiction B2B with Jungle Mother, Miss Trixsta and Disruption.
Come along and show some support for MC Frostbite!
As stated above, all proceeds will go to Neil’s family.
As Neil would say “We’re gonna rock you through the night!” 👊
