Experience the magic of Winter at Central Park’s third annual Frost Fest! This family-friendly event offers a variety of activities for everyone, including a snow maze, luge for sledding, and ice-skating. Warm up with delicious hot chocolate or sample savory delights from the Chili Cookoff. At sunset, we will transform the skating path with luminaries to enjoy skating under the winter sky.
Become a chili taste-tester for just $5! Sample up to 15 homemade chili recipes and cast your vote for your favorites. The top winners will be awarded cash prizes. Chili sampling will be open until 6 p.m., winners will be announced at 6:30 p.m. The skating trail’s luminary display will begin around 5 p.m. through 8 p.m.
*Snow features such as the snow maze and sledding luge will be weather and snowfall dependent.

Compete with your favorite 8-quart crockpot chili recipe for a chance to win a cash prize while supporting a great cause. Registration is free but limited to 15 contestants. Registration is open until midnight on Saturday, January 26 or until full. Contestants are encouraged to stay and enjoy Frost Fest, but are only required for set up from to 2-3 p.m. and awards/clean-up from 6-6:30 p.m.
Attendees at Frost Fest can sample the chilis for $5 from 3-6 p.m. and vote for their favorites or until quantities last. Winners will be announced shortly after 6 p.m.
Half of proceeds from taste testers will go to prizes and half will be donated to , a non-profit for women dedicated to providing community service focusing on women and families within the northern Twin Cities area. Learn more at www.womnstrong.org
We provide tables, tablecloths, paper products, silverware, napkins, and power. Contestants must ensure transportation and adherence to food safety practices.
