We were profoundly moved and inspired by the recent Walk for Peace and felt called to bring the same intention to our community. Join us at the Main Street gazebo for a talk on peace by Bentonville resident Ado Lama, a Tibetan monk and lifelong meditation practitioner who has devoted himself to compassion, wisdom, and service.
Through his teachings, he reminds us that peace and happiness begin within — and ripple outward into our communities.
There will be opportunities to meet Ado Lama and ask questions.
Following his talk, we will embark on a short peace walk around downtown Front Royal.
Those who have limited mobility are encouraged to join us in meditation or prayer at the pavilion adjacent to the gazebo during the walk.
We will gather there to conclude our afternoon of peace.
All are welcome to join us in the spirit of peace, reflection, and unity.
