Rob Hopkins, time traveller, community activist and harvester of possibilities and stories of change, will transport us to a 2036 in which society has been reoriented around kindness and care. The world feels so profoundly unkind right now. But is that how it's always going to be? Would a society rooted in kindness be a better way to reach the kind of future we all long to see? Transition movement founder, time traveller and author Rob Hopkins will give the 2026 Kindness Festival lecture in which he will take us on a journey to visit the future that resulted from our placing kindness at the heart of policy, economics and society. He will share with us things he saw there, stories he heard, and what it felt like to be there. As bell hooks once put it, "what we cannot imagine cannot come into being". So join him, as he steps through the fabric of time, taking us with him, to immerse ourselves in a world built on kindness. You'll be glad you went.
