The Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, OH, Ohio welcomes guest curator Mary Urbas as she Celebrates Women’s History Month, presenting “from Woman 19… Created by women, of women and about women,” through March 15, 2026.
“From WOMAN 19 at The Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery” showcases local and regional women artists from Northeast and Central Ohio. They will exhibit works created in a diverse variety of media including: oil, acrylic, drawing and collage, textiles, ceramic sculpture, assemblage art, mixed media, printmaking and enamel on copper.
The exhibition at The Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery is one of three “From WOMAN” exhibitions that Urbas is curating throughout Northern Ohio in 2026. The works at The Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery are figurative.
Artworks included in the collection at UNDERSTORY at 78th St Studios are “abstract” compositions; work include at BK Smith Gallery, at Lake Erie College are “inspired by nature”.
