From Tribal Knowledge to Scalable Teams
About this Event
Join the Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire for a practical August program focused on one of the most common challenges facing growing manufacturers: how to train people faster, retain critical knowledge, and build teams that can scale.
Many manufacturers are growing, but their training systems have not evolved at the same pace. Too much knowledge still lives in the heads of a few key employees. Onboarding takes longer than it should. New team members struggle to ramp up quickly. HR and Operations leaders are often left trying to build capability while also keeping up with production demands.
Featured speaker Alfonso Aramburo will present “From Tribal Knowledge to Scalable Teams,” offering practical ways manufacturers can reduce dependency on tribal knowledge, shorten ramp-up time, and create stronger training systems using visual documentation, video, AI, and real-world examples from manufacturing environments.
Alfonso Aramburo is an MCIE consultant and manufacturing workforce expert who was recently featured by MCIE for his work helping manufacturers strengthen teams, improve training systems, and build operational capability. His approach focuses on practical, people-centered solutions that help companies develop talent faster and support long-term growth.
The program will also include a short success interview with Kenny Weisbart, who will share his experience as a participant in MCIE’s consulting program and the benefits his company hopes to realize through the process. Sandra Sisco will lead the discussion in a casual interview format.
Attendees will walk away with ideas they can apply immediately to:
- Reduce training time
- Capture and preserve critical knowledge
- Improve onboarding and ramp-up
- Strengthen collaboration between HR and Operations
- Use visual documentation, video, and AI to support training
- Build teams that can scale with company growth
