Join Elena Abend (UW-Milwaukee Piano Faculty) and clarinetist Orlando Pimentel (Adj. Prof. Wisconsin Lutheran College) for a fun and inspiring evening performing Latin American Music for clarinet and piano. This vibrant program celebrates the rich musical voices of South America, featuring works by Paquito D'Rivera, Pablo Ziegler, Pedro Laurenz, Astor Piazzolla, Icli Zitella, Sebstián Díaz Peña, and Ernán López Nussa. Blending classical traditions with spirited rhythms and soulful melodies, this performance offers a journey through the diverse soundscape of the Caribbean to Patagonia.
