Richard “Rick” Kline will give a presentation on the Rev. Thomas W. Henry, once a slave on the Montpelier plantation in Clear Spring. He later was pastor of Pleasant Hill AME Church outside of Keedysville, MD, and of Ebenezer AME Church in Hagerstown, MD. His autobiography has been republished under the title “From Slavery to Salvation: the Autobiography of Rev. Thomas W. Henry of the A. M. E. Church”
