Join us for a Creative Monoprinting and Collage Workshop with Georgie, a seasoned printmaker and artist. This session will immerse you in experimental mono-printing and collage techniques, offering an opportunity to explore various methods and expand your creative horizons. The workshop begins with mono-drawing warm-up exercises to familiarise you with the printmaking process. Using your sketchbook drawings, found imagery, and personal ideas, you will experiment with techniques including stencils, drawing, and ink to produce layered, textured prints. Georgie will guide you through different mono-printing methods with step-by-step instructions and demonstrations. You will receive individual support throughout the workshop to help you develop your concepts into a series of experimental pieces. The aim is to assist you in creating a final resolved piece by the end of the session, with personalised advice to enhance your understanding of the techniques and their application. Please bring a sketchbook filled with images and ideas you wish to explore or use inspiring found images. All essential materials, including inks, will be provided. It is advisable to wear clothes you don't mind getting stained. Whether you are new to printmaking or seeking to refine your skills, this workshop offers a nurturing environment for creativity and experimentation.
