This is an 8 Hour H.O.T. Class.

This course is designed to address today’s mayday situation on a fireground incident.

While great strides have been made in the last 15 years to improve both firefighter &

fireground safety, very little has changed in the skills we teach to address a mayday

situation. This 8 -hour course presents students with the challenges most often

encountered during firefighter maydays. Driven from both statistical data and case

studies of Line of Duty Deaths across the country within the last 10 years, the skills and

tactics presented in this course prepare the firefighter to make the tactical transition

from operating on the fireground to becoming a distressed firefighter’s best chance at

survival.
