About this Event
Celebrate Flag Day at the Ross Farm—where history comes to life. 🇺🇸
As part of Bernards Township’s America 250 initiative, we’re proud to host this special community event marking the beginning of a season of reflection, celebration, and connection.
Join us on Saturday, June 13 for From Revolution to Reflection: Flag Day at the Ross Farm—a free, family-friendly open house that brings together history, music, and community in one of Basking Ridge’s most meaningful historic settings.
This event reflects the spirit of the America 250 initiative, welcoming neighbors, local organizations, and visitors to explore our shared history and look ahead toward a “more perfect Union.”
Spend an hour or stay for the day—there’s something to discover around every corner. Meander through historic flag displays, tour the home and gardens, enter our historic recipes contest, and enjoy live music throughout the afternoon.
🎶 At 1 p.m., Desmond Diehl sets the tone with a relaxed, roots-inspired performance.
🥧 At 2:30 p.m., don’t miss the finals of our historic recipe contest—bringing a taste of the past to life with a little friendly competition.
🎻 At 4 p.m., the day builds to a special finale with AJ Lee & Blue Summit - one of the most exciting young bands in bluegrass today - bringing their high-energy, festival-honed sound to the Ross Farm to cap off the celebration in unforgettable style.
No tickets are required, but if you claim a free ticket and get registered, you’ll receive a reminder about the event via email.
