Ever notice you feel a lot but can’t always explain what’s going on inside?
For many of us, emotions feel confusing.
They rise up suddenly, feel intense, and before we know it, we’re overwhelmed, shut down, or stuck in our heads replaying what happened.
You might feel stressed, reactive, flat, or exhausted without really knowing why.
When you can’t name what you’re feeling, it’s hard to know what you actually need.
Emotional literacy is the ability to name what you’re feeling and understand what that feeling is asking for.
It’s a learned skill, and it’s one most of us were never taught.
In this framework, emotions are understood as signals connected to unmet or met needs.
Without language for feelings and needs, everything can collapse into “stress” or “too much.”
With language, clarity begins to emerge, and a path forward becomes possible.
This session offers a grounded, accessible entry point into emotional literacy.
You’ll learn a simple, practical way to meet your emotions as they arise, so they don’t have to take over.
During this one-hour session, you’ll leave with:
- A practical ritual you can use when emotions feel overwhelming
- A new way of relating to your inner experience
- A clearer understanding of why confusion and emotional intensity arise when feelings go unacknowledged
- A sense of what the next layer of emotional skill-building looks like
This is a warm, supportive space to slow down, connect with your emotions, and leave with something you can actually use.
