Join us for an insightful and empowering exploration of the menopause and reproductive health.
About this Event

Female reproductive health and fertility is still rarely discussed openly. Despite some positive changes in recent years, there is still a lot of misunderstanding around fertility, and stigma and shame continue to surround the menopause. Every woman going through changes like reduced fertility, perimenopause, or menopause deserves to feel informed, confident, and supported by a caring community.

Join us for a fascinating conversation exploring the science behind women’s health and the menopause, a pharmacist’s perspective of how we can manage symptoms, and the social history behind the menopause — how did it become so taboo?

This event is open to anyone interested in learning more — whether you’re experiencing reduced fertility or menopause yourself, supporting someone who is, or simply curious to understand more.

Panel members:

Dr Stephane Berneau, Lecturer in Physiology and Pharmacology

Katie Smolkski, Lecturer in Prescribing and Advanced Clinical Pharmacist

Dr Marie-Clare Balaam, Research Associate
