From Mic to Mix

Interested in getting started in the world of audio engineering? If so, join us for our new “From Mic to Mix” workshop! Our beginner-friendly event will help introduce you to getting started in the field, whether as a hobby or a profession. The instructor, D3adrum, will show you the in’s and out’s of using audio software (Logic Pro & Reaper) to manipulate and mix a multitude of vocal or instrumental recordings.

The Class Will Cover:

• Going Over The Different File Formats
• Getting Started On Your Audio Program Of Choice
• Pressing Voice
• Working With Production Hardware & Integrating Them Into Your Software

About The Speaker:

D3adrum - a Pittsburgh-based audio engineer and sound mixer, brings a unique perspective informed by years of experience as a performing musician. Transitioning from drumming with various groups and live MPC production, Deadrum has cultivated a deep understanding of audio through extensive networking and collaboration with fellow musicians. This hands-on experience translates into a refined approach to recording and mixing.
