Join us at SITKA Vernon Hills for a special event on charter fishing with Brian Griffin of Griffin Sport Fishing Charters!Brian brings more than 15 years of experience fishing Lake Michigan and works full-time as a Captain on the water seven days a week. Come learn from Brian as he breaks down what to expect on one of his charters and shares some of his keys to success while targeting salmon and trout on the big lake.
Joining us will also be Joe Bonavita Jr. (@chefintothewild). Chef Joe earned a degree from Le Cordon Bleu and honed his craft in Michelin-starred restaurants and acclaimed South Florida venues. Now based in Colorado, he combines fine-dining expertise with wild game cooking to create field-to-table experiences while educating others on the connection between food, nature, and craftsmanship.
Chef Joe will be cooking up some incredible salmon dishes and sharing tips for preparing your next catch for the dinner table at home. This event is free and open to the public and every attendee will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win great gear at the end of the event.
