Meet Julie Shears 🎤
Julie Shears has a passion for the world of the ancient Romans and Greeks, having been a Classical Studies teacher for more than forty years.
Her teaching has covered topics including ancient history, literature, art, architecture and religion, as well as socio-political life and mythology. Julie has also participated in education initiatives over many years and co-authored study guides for students.
In 2009, Julie became Deputy Principal at Iona College in Havelock North and later took on the role of Acting Principal for short periods.
Her love of history, travel and the ancient world continues to shape her work and her enthusiasm for sharing these fascinating stories with others.
