Discover the stories, strategies, and sounds that shape today’s music at From Inspiration to Track: She Rocks Songwriting & Production. Presented by the Women’s International Music Network, this dynamic evening will spotlight the creative journeys of trailblazing women in music through discussion, performance, and community connection.
The event begins with a candid Pro Panel, moderated by AIJIA, an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer who has written hits for Selena Gomez, Anderson .Paak, Christina Perri, and more. A seasoned performer who has appeared on SNL, Ellen, and The Tonight Show, AIJIA is also a mentor and advocate for women in music, bringing her insight and passion for empowerment to the conversation.
She’ll be joined by:
- Divinity Roxx — A Grammy-nominated bassist, songwriter, and performer whose career includes touring with Victor Wooten and serving as bassist and Musical Director for Beyoncé. With her innovative solo projects, music for PBS Kids’ Lyla in the Loop, and appearances from SNL to the White House, Divinity brings a wealth of experience at the intersection of artistry, advocacy, and inspiration.
- Morgan James — A Juilliard-trained vocalist, Broadway alum (Motown: The Musical, Godspell, The Addams Family), and fearless recording artist praised by The New York Times as “a phenomenal talent.” Known for reimagining classic songs through a feminist lens and for her bold original albums, Morgan continues to shape a unique space where powerhouse vocals meet reinvention.
- Miette Hope —A Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, and producer, Miette's left-of-center pop fuses cinematic depth with raw emotion. A Berklee College of Music graduate, her songs have appeared on Love Island, The Chi, CSI: Vegas, and more, and in campaigns for Amazon, Google, Target, and Volvo. She has collaborated with artists including Kiiara, Em Beihold, KING MALA, and Veritè, while her own work has earned praise from MTV News, radio support from BBC and KCRW, and Spotify playlist features for her project The Natural Synthetic with Ariza.
Following the discussion, attendees will experience intimate live performances from these incredible artists, each offering insight into their creative process along the way. The night concludes with a networking reception, creating space for students, professionals, and music fans to connect with artists, executives, and one another in a welcoming and inspiring environment.
This event is free to attend with registration required. Capacity is limited to 300 seats, so be sure to reserve your spot early. Donations are gratefully accepted to support future She Rocks programming and initiatives that champion diversity, creativity, and women in music.
This event is supported by The Women’s International Music Network, Roc Nation, Buoy, Positive Grid, Venus Guitars, and Monster Energy.
