Using colors, lines, and shapes as a guide, we will take a short walk around Basalt and capture photo images along the way. After each walk, we will make a journal page using our printed photos as inspiration. Students will learn how to introduce constraints to their photographs, editing tips and tricks, different techniques for printing and displaying photographs, and more.This class will meet each month, allowing participants interested in continuing the journey throughout the year to track seasonal changes through photo imagery, paint, collage, and writing.
All levels are welcome and all materials, including printing, are included. Please bring a cell phone or digital camera to class. We look forward to seeing you there!
