Laugh, learn, and look to the stars in Grossology and You and We Are Stars. Join us at the Blake Planetarium for a one-of-a-kind evening that jumps from the inner workings of the human body to the explosive origins of the universe.
Our feature presentation, Grossology and You, follows Noreen Neuron as she hosts a hilarious showdown to see which body system deserves the title of “best and brightest.” Will it be Scabby from the immune system, Boogie from the respiratory system, or Flatus from the digestive system? This lively, kid-friendly adventure blends humor and science as these animated characters guide audiences through the marvels and the messiness of how our bodies work.
We’ll also screen We Are Stars, a visually stunning journey into our cosmic history. Discover how the universe forged Hydrogen, Carbon, and the essential molecules that eventually made life possible on Earth. This show connects our biology to the evolution of the cosmos, reminding us that every living thing is made from stardust.
