A celebratory evening with Safe & Just Michigan
Join us for an evening of fellowship, legislative updates, and dialog on the future of criminal legal reform.
We are delighted to announce that Priya Sarathy Jones , Deputy Executive Director of the Fines & Fees Justice Center, will be our keynote speaker. She will share insights from her life experiences, including her work in public defense and decade spent with the Department of Justice, as she discusses ending our two-tiered justice system.
Additionally, we will present the Gov. William G. Milliken Award to state Rep. Amos O’Neal (D-Saginaw), an influential figure in the Legislature's reform efforts and primary sponsor of legislation to end juvenile life without parole. Dinner is included in this event, and your registration includes your meal choice. This is a free event, but space is limited, so register today!
