歡迎參加由社區義工帶領、以廣東話進行的索利赫爾（Solihull）市中心歷史文化導賞團，一同探索這個地方如何由昔日的鄉郊田野和農地，逐步發展成今天充滿活力的城鎮。我們將透過本地人物故事、皇室到訪以及城市景觀的變遷，回顧索利赫爾的發展歷程，了解歷史文化、市民願景及社區身份如何跨越不同世代，共同塑造今日的索利赫爾。

導賞路線

導賞團將由 The Core 開始，途經 Touchwood、Homer Road、Herbert Road 及 Station Road，最後返回 The Core。

路線將穿越市中心不同區域，途中亦需橫過馬路。整個導賞預計約為1.5小時。參加者請按自身行動能力及無障礙需要，考慮此路線及活動時間是否適合參與。

除導盲犬/協助犬外，其他犬隻恕不允許參與是次活動。

Join us for a guided heritage walk around Solihull town centre, delivered in Cantonese by local community volunteers, as we explore how Solihull evolved from rural fields and farmland into the thriving town centre we see today. Through stories of local people, royal visits and changing landscapes, we will trace the town’s development and discover how heritage, civic ambition and community identity have helped shape Solihull across generations.

Walk Route

The walk will begin at The Core and continue through Touchwood, along Homer Road, Herbert Road and Station Road, before returning to The Core.

The route will involve moving through different areas of the town centre and crossing roads at various points during the walk. The tour is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours. Participants are encouraged to consider whether the route and duration are suitable for their individual mobility and accessibility needs.

Regrettably, dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs) are not permitted on the walk.

Enrolment

The tour can accommodate up to 20 participants. Tickets must be booked in advance, and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

(This walk is organised and delivered by community volunteers to support cultural sharing and local engagement. A similar guided walk with commentary in English is planned for a later date.)
