From Estuary to Table: Robinson Preserve Guided Paddle
the connection between healthy marine ecosystems and food.
About this Event
Join us for a guided kayak tour of the Robinson Preserve Expansion and discover the connection between healthy estuaries, habitat restoration, and local seafood. Hear from local conservationists and researchers about the restoration work happening at Robinson Preserve and how healthy coastal habitats support both wildlife and our local food system.
This is an intermediate paddle, and is not suitable for beginners. All participants must wear a life jacket with a whistle (provided). Participants should bring a water bottle and wear clothing appropriate for the weather. Please wear shoes that strap or tie to your feet, no flip-flops. Your feet and lower legs will get wet and sandy. You may wish to bring a towel and dry clothes/shoes to change into after the paddle.
