From Ego to Love: a Path to Connection in Relationships & Pneuma Breathwork

Pneuma Institute Ojai welcomes Transpersonal Psychologist and International Pedagogical Coordinator of Pneuma Institute, Maite Pardo Sol, for a weekend intensive course and Pneuma Breathwork.

Human beings are deeply relational by nature. We thrive on belonging, affection, and community — yet many of us find that these same relationships can become sources of pain, confusion, and emotional struggle. Whether with a partner, family, friends, or coworkers, the quality of our relationships shapes the quality of our lives.

This profound experiential workshop invites you to explore your relationships from a transpersonal and spiritual perspective, moving beyond the limiting narratives of “what happened” or “who is right or wrong.”

Through the lens of Pneuma Transpersonal Psychology, you will learn how to rise above the usual horizontal view of conflict and open to a vertical understanding — one that includes the deeper dimensions of history, behavior, mind, emotion, and spirit.

By awakening this broader awareness, you will discover a path toward transformation that leads from ego — with its fears, needs, and defense mechanisms — to love, a natural state of harmony and understanding.

What We Will Explore:

• What is love? Understand the difference between emotional dependency, desire, and pure loving awareness.
• The order of relationships. Examine the dynamic between self-love and love for others.
• Obstacles to loving. Identify unconscious patterns, wounds, and projections that keep you trapped in cycles of suffering generated by the ego.
• Foundations of healthy relationships.

Workshop Experience:

Along with teaching and self-inquiry practices, the workshop includes a Pneuma Breathwork session — a deeply transformative practice that opens a space for expanded awareness and inner healing. Through conscious breathing, music, and an inner-guided process, you will access intuitive insight and emotional clarity that support genuine transformation in your relationships.

Maite Pardo Sol is a Transpersonal Psychotherapist and Educator and a member of the international staff of the Pneuma Institute.

Since her youth, she has dedicated herself to exploring the levels of Consciousness and Reality, weaving psychology with spiritual inquiry.

Passionate about the ancestral traditions of the West and the Americas, she applies their ancient wisdom, myths, and archetypes to personal development and psychotherapy.

She specializes in Dream Work and offers consulting sessions, psychotherapy, dream analysis, and energy therapies, traveling throughout Europe and the Americas to give lectures and training courses.

She is also a member of the European Association of Transpersonal Psychology, the European Transpersonal Association, and the Ibero-American Transpersonal Association.

Saturday, May 15th, Class 9:30 am - 1pm & 3pm - 6:30pm.

Sunday, May 11th, Class 9:30am - 1pm, Pneuma Breathwork 2pm - 6pm.
