Join CIH and RIBA at Labour Party Conference to explore how devolution can drive housing delivery, regeneration and better places.
About this Event

Bringing together experts from housing, architecture, Parliament and local government, this panel will explore how devolved powers can help unlock sites, accelerate housing delivery and support regeneration across England.

The discussion will consider how the Government's devolution agenda can enable mayors and local leaders to plan strategically at scale, drive investment and deliver the homes and places communities need. It will also examine how a place-based, design-led approach can support the delivery of high-quality, low-carbon homes and create healthier, more sustainable communities.

Speakers include:

  • Andrew Cooper MP, Member of Parliament for Mid Cheshire
  • Charlie Norman, Group Chief Executive, MSV Housing Group
  • Chloe Fletcher, Head of Policy and External Affairs, CIH (Chair)
  • Chris Williamson, President, RIBA
  • Councillor Stephen Cowan, Leader of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
  • Tom Arnold, Regional Engagement and Devolution Policy Manager, CIH
