About this Event

Join us for an up-close, informal, raw benefit performance supporting Neocortex Dance Theatre Company’s (NDTC) journey to Germany. Get an exclusive preview of the show, States of Mind, heading to Hannover, stripped of traditional theater boundaries and experienced right inside the studio. This special fundraising event features a multidisciplinary program of contemporary-modern dance, live piano, captivating illusions and magic, and a post-show artist talk.

Driven by an original live piano score by composer Frank J. Glab, NDTC’s high-octane choreographic work dives deep into mental health advocacy—exploring the internal spectrums of bipolar disorder, emotional numbing, and human vulnerability.

Bringing a distinct and powerful dimension to the program, The Great Frankini presents a standalone performance of striking illusions, mysteries, and magic. This captivating act mirrors the evening's deeper concepts, unpacking the tension between perception and reality, what we mask, and what we choose to reveal.
The show is approximately 1 hour-1 hour and 15 minutes.
To protect the studio’s dance floors, only water is allowed and it is a shoe-free event–cozy socks encouraged!
