The Vision: The Art of KintsugiIn the Japanese art of Kintsugi, broken pottery is not discarded. Instead, the fragments are painstakingly joined back together with gold. The result is a vessel more beautiful, more resilient, and more valuable than the original—not despite its cracks, but because of them.
Our world, our country, and our own hearts feel right now like those shattered pieces. We see the fractures of division, the dust of grief, and the sharp edges of injustice. But we are not meant to stay broken. Join us as we “turn aside” from the noise of the world to stand on Holy Ground. Together, we will name the broken pieces and call forth the “gold” of compassion and grace to bind us back together.

The Call to Wholeness: A community commitment to peace and mending.

Everyone. Whether you belong to a faith tradition, are spiritual but not religious, or are simply believe in the power of community gathered around compassion—there is a place for you on this lawn.
