From Bayou to The Bay bridges the soulful traditions of New Orleans with the bold, contemporary energy of the Bay Area. This special exhibition is part of Black Nexus, a multi-city cultural program presented by the Museum of the African Diaspora (MOAD), celebrating Black creativity, connection, and innovation.

Through painterly abstraction, layered textures, and vibrant visual storytelling, the featured artists bring together two coasts, two histories, and one shared vision.
