At just 20 years old, Laurel is rapidly gaining national recognition, from her featured appearance on NPR’s From the Top to mesmerizing standing-room-only audiences across the United States. A student of legendary guitarist Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Institute, she has earned major distinctions including the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Scholarship and first prizes at leading international competitions. 

In this unique recital, Laurel journeys from the architectural brilliance of Bach and the lyrical warmth of Schubert to the irresistible rhythms of Jobim, alongside works by Ponce, Mertz, Thielemans, and Chase.
