Let's be honest - LinkedIn can feel cringy. The corporate buzzwords, the humble-brags, the "I'm delighted to announce..." posts that make you want to hide under your desk. But here's the thing: LinkedIn is brilliant for self-employed folk and small business owners when you do it your way.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to boost their personal brand on LinkedIn but doesn't know where to start (or feels too awkward to start). Whether you're a business owner, freelancer, consultant, or just someone who wants to show up more confidently online, this is for you.

What we'll cover:

• Tips for creating your personal brand (without the cringe)
• The art of storytelling - how to share your work authentically
• Creative tasks to help you feel inspired and focused
• Practical frameworks to plan your content calendar
• Confidence-boosting tips to get past the awkwardness
• How to use AI to support your content creation
• Real examples and case studies from people doing it well

This is a relaxed, informal, super-interactive workshop with one goal: to get you inspired, feeling creative, and ready to crush the stuffy, corporate views we've all attached to LinkedIn. LinkedIn is great - and it can give your business the boost it needs when you show up as yourself.

About your host:

Sally Day is a Marketing, Communications & Engagement Specialist from Wantage, with over 17 years of experience. She's also the founder of Sally Day Consultancy & Training, and LinkedIn has genuinely held her business together for over 5 years. Sally knows what it's like to feel awkward about self-promotion, and she's here to help you find your voice, tell your story, and make LinkedIn work for you - without the cringe. Sally's passion is to make marketing fun and accessible for all - there will be no jargon here!

1. You can park onsite for free
2. Teas and coffees will be provided - including biscuits!
3. A food truck is next to Boston House if you'd like to purchase a fancy hot drink prior to the event or lunch afterwards
4. You can arrive from 9am to mingle and get settled - we will start promptly at 9:30am
5. Slides will be sent after the session so no need to worry about note-taking
