Throughout September 1st - 30th, 2026 the Longest Yarn Exhibition will be held in the Assembly Rooms of the Town Hall. To coincide with this the organisers along with others have created a Fringe Festival of talks, plays, films all within the theme of the exhibition - Britain at War 1939 to 1945.
