The Frights & Freedom 5K is a costume-themed charity race hosted by Flower Mound Plastic Surgery and Live Young Wellness Spa, a proud Veteran-owned business. Taking place on October 18, 2025, this fun and festive event supports the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides critical support to the families of America’s elite military forces. Whether you’re running, walking, or just showing off your best Halloween costume, everyone is welcome—no athletic experience needed. Join us for a morning of fun, community, and honoring our nation’s heroes. Registration opens at 7 am, and the 5k will start at 8 am. Runners, get ready to fuel up! We’ll have LMNT sample packs available—delicious, zero-sugar electrolyte drink mixes designed to keep you hydrated and performing your best. After the race, enjoy live music, shop local vendors, and treat yourself to complimentary stretches from StretchLab Flower Mound to help you recover and feel amazing.
Awards Given
$100 cash prizes for: Best Costume Award (1 winner), Most Creative/Weirdest Costume Award (1 winner), one overall winner for each gender (male and female) for the following categories: Under 18, 18-40, and 40+
