As part of Muslim Awareness Week, Montreal City Mission and St. James UC will be hosting a gathering on Sunday service, February 1st in a spirit of respect, dialogue, and interfaith connection.
The gathering will be led by Reverend Paula Kline and will include a moment of reflection, and a symbolic candle‑lighting , representing remembrance, solidarity, and commitment to living together in dignity.
SSM’s participation highlights the importance of interfaith alliances, the sharing of messages of peace and mutual understanding, and the creation of meaningful spaces of encounter between communities. The event will conclude with a networking moment and light refreshments.
