Gypsy Jam is more than just a weekend of music.
It was inspired by the late Penny Wortham, who spent decades bringing musicians together and reminding people that sometimes you need to get away from everyday life, pick up an instrument, sit around with good people, and simply play.
She inspired generations of musicians to come together, learn from one another, share songs, stay up too late jamming, and never lose that part of themselves that music reaches.
This gathering is, and always will be, dedicated to her.
She put the love of music in me and in so many others, and we intend to keep passing that love along. As long as there are people sitting around a fire with instruments in their hands, learning from each other and playing from the soul, a little piece of what she started is still here.
We shall never let that love of music die. ❤️

For one weekend, come get away from the noise of everyday life. Surround yourself with other musicians. Learn something. Teach something. Write something. Play a song you haven't touched in years. Sit beside somebody you've never played with before and see where the music takes you.
No stage. No competition. No pressure.
Just musicians being musicians.
