🥂 Cheers to our 4th Blind Draw Revco Doubles Tourney : Friendsgiving Style. Come to play or come to hang!
We will be doing a potluck this tourney! We bring the Turkey, you bring the sides! To sign up to bring a side / your favorite dish to share, please take a look at the post I made below, look at the Google Sheet, and then comment/message me what you'd like to bring. We will give you $5 back from your entry fee as a thank you! If you have any allergies please comment them in the post as well.

Registration Fee:
Pay $40 to register - get $15 back when you show up to play! Venmo @gsunseri. This is so we can give bigger payouts as well as encourage commitment to play as we have had many people drop / no show the day of and it hurts our format efficiency... and our feelings.
We will cap at 40 players (60 if we can get more nets)! Players paid/confirmed will be tracked on a separate post below.

Format Details (Buckle Up!):
Please arrive by 8:30 am to set up your tent in our tent village, grab some breakfast from our table, and to be ready to do a warm-up drill (Kings/Queens) at 8:45. At 8:55, we will have our Player's Meeting and then announce the first round.

- We will play 6 rounds of pool play games - one set to 21. You will randomly receive a new partner each round! To maximize play, there are no refs and everyone will play each round. You'll receive a new partner each round, thanks to Scramble Campell (Our AI randomizer. We will have a projector to display the teams for each round and individual records.
- For playoffs, we will do an upper and lower playoff bracket. We will randomly batch seed the top ranked players (based off wins and losses and then point differential). For example we take the top 4 guys and top 4 girls and they get randomly paired with each other to create seeds #1-4 and so on. First and Second round is one game to 25, Semi-finals and finals will be match play (21, 21, 15)
- NEW: We will have a Redemption Rally Playoff Bracket for those that lost first and second round of playoffs. You can stay with the partner you have or be randomized a new partner going into the Redemption Rally. 1st and 2nd place prize TBD.
- Prizes: Upper - 1st place ($300) , 2nd place ($150). Lower - 1st place ($100), 2nd place ($50)
- We’ll have another prize for whoever has the most Style Points! Player will be announced after Pool Play. 💃Style Points are points awarded for creative, crazy, or cool plays (e.g., best dive, insane dig, ultimate waffle, or funniest error), given by anyone watching or playing.
- We will have a sports photographer to get action shots of hopefully ever single one of you, that I will send out after the tourney!
- Bring your own waters, canopies (we’ll try to make one big tent village FOR THE VIBES and for warmth)

Rules (our fave):
Usual Revco rules we all know and love. Biggest pointers:
- block counts as a touch
- open hand receive is allowed if it is completely clean
- call your own stuff and/or kindly call each others
- be nice. This is too cool a group to crash out in a $25 tourney.
- IF we have two guys on one team (ultimate revco), one guy on the ultimate revco team is allowed to block the guy(s) on the opposing team.
